BASTILLE DAY

Basking in the sun on this already-hot July morning. For the past few days, Bandit has been under the weather; today, he finally has more spring in his Springer step. Last night, we went to the vet and it seems he simply ate something that didn't agree with him. Diagnosis: gastritis. He's working it out of his system, starting to gobble little bits of food here and there. The vet's recommendation is to feed him lean hamburger mixed with rice. Sounds like a nice way for a dog to recover.

Today's color: green with slashes of fuchsia. Today's temperature: scalding.
